New parts and Oil Tank Mounts

got new parts in this week, flat fender and the Easy Rider sissy bar


















Also fabbed up a custom oil tank side mount

kicker gear set-up

picked up a 1971 OEM kicker gear setup from a buddy of mine who sells sportster parts

Start:
heres the new kicker gear drum

so i cut the ring off the old electric start drum

then heated up the gear and tapped it place

then welded it up 

Keep On Rolling

Ruff Mounted the front end with the old tire, the bike is finally taking its form

 

 

Drop Seat Post Brackets Finished product

did the finishing touches on the seat brackets witch included welding to frame and the seat pan

Primed:

Chopper Shox Drop Bracket Seat Mounts

made some custom mounts for my chopper shocks seat pan,

Useing a Plasma Cutter I Cut Four 3 1/2 inch long plates out of 1/8 think steel

 

then using the old mounts as guides drew in the mount holes

Then drilled a Pilot hole

then end up with theses

 

 

then did some more cutting and grinding to make room on the frame..

then set everything up and started to tack weld

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

Becuse one of the brackets shifted re-tacking is going to need to be down as well as some sanding that was missed.

 after the hinge was tacked i went to tack the shock mounts, and of course as it never fucking fails with custom matarils, all the tabs where perfect but ONE

 now its off the email mail Chopper Shox and see whats gunna happen.....
